How do you relax at home?


WellnessTip #1: Clearing the Mind

Meditation is one of the absolute best ways to improve your mental health. But wait! Not everyone likes meditation!  We get it, so we have created our own version.

This isn't really a new concept, but it is one that we have found incredibly helpful when there aren't a lot of places to go or things to do.

Rather than a traditional form of slow breathing, chanting or stillness meditation which a lot of people find challenging, we recommend something much simpler. We call it Clearing The Mind.

Simply follow the steps below.


Step 1:

Find a cozy place in your home to gaze out of a window, at a piece of art, or some other focal point of enjoyment.

Step 2:

Sit comfortably. With ginger tea perhaps ;)

Step 3:

While gently focusing on the object or view outside of your window, let the mind clear of any thoughts or judgements.  Continue softening your gaze until you are in a dream-like state.   No thoughts present.   

Step 4:

Do this for a minimum of 5 minutes or more.


This simple practice is a great way to refresh the mind or help further with meditations.  Even if for only 5 minutes at a time!
