Treatments are carefully planned to accommodate each and every client. In a spirit of mutual respect, H2O Float Spa kindly requests that guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the appointments in order to experience the full treatment time. Late arrivals are finished within the scheduled treatment time while the fee remains unchanged.
On arrival, guests are supplied with a bathrobe, sandals and locker for personal belongings. Towels are provided in the float and pod rooms. Facilities include separate men’s and women’s change rooms with vanities stocked with a variety of toiletries and hair dryers. Lounges are located throughout the spa with ginger tea, espresso, water and snacks being offered.
The spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. In consideration of other spa guests, each person should speak in a quiet voice at all times, or be mindful of areas that request no talking. Please keep your mobile devices in your locker, for privacy purposes. Inquire with a spa attendant if you would like to take a photo of yourself in your room, for social media purposes.
H2O Float Spa asks guests to please refrain at least 12 hours in advance from shaving or waxing before float sessions, to maximize the benefits of the float experience. Advice the staff of any minor cuts prior to floating so we can provide an ointment to prevent the area from stinging. Guests with health issues, allergies or injuries should consult with their physicians prior to booking, which may make the treatment unsuitable.
Floating is highly recommended for expectant mothers in their 2nd or 3rd Trimester. Pre-natal massage treatments are also available by licensed therapists. Guests are encouraged to consult with their physicians or health care practitioner prior to booking any spa services.
Spa treatments are reserved for guests 16 years or older. Minors are allowed in the spa by appointment only and must be accompanied by an adult during their visit. Please keep in mind that children’s skin is still soft and sensitive and may be affected by the large amounts of Epsom salt in the water. As well if the child has any cuts or scratches, this will cause a stinging sensation. An ointment prior to the float can be provided for this.
Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid full-service charge. Groups of 3 or more must cancel more than 48 hours in advance to avoid charges in full.
H2O Float Spa cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items and valuables during visits. Guests may wish to refrain from wearing jewelry or valuables to the spa.
Loss or Damage
H2O Float Spa strongly recommends scheduling in advance to ensure preferred appointment times. Credit card and contact details are required at the time of reservation to guarantee all bookings.
